Alibaba Review

Alibaba.com review.

Alibaba is the world's largest online trade platform, connecting millions of buyers and suppliers worldwide every day. Any product you can think of can be found at Alibaba at a good price, if you can find a good seller. I personally have some fantastic suppliers that are honest and will bend over backwards to accommodate my needs, they will even go out of their way to address any situation that may arise. These type of sellers are a credit to Alibaba and the commerce of China.

There are 10,000's of sellers on Alibaba but unfortunately a high percentage of these are fraudulent to say the least. These fraudulent sellers have great looking stores and communicate as if they were the experts in their field but when they get your money nothing turns up in the post.

There is a Gold Membership for sellers who have passed a third party accreditation which is supposed to instill trust, however you can still have Gold Membership if you're a fraudster (be very careful). The unfortunate aspect is that Alibaba can not do a thing if you lose your money, its gone for good. Alibaba can kick the seller off the site but they will pop back up as a new seller and continue their sorry existence.

There are so many stories on the web regarding Aliaba's fraudsters, do a google and check them out.

Bottom line: DO some research as there is some key elements to consider and some steps that must be followed to minimize the risk of being ripped off, notice how I didn't say eliminate the risk, impossible.

To all you Alibaba fraudsters, I hope your life is full of misery and be rest assured that one day you will end up in the shit pit of hell.

I wish to warn as many people as possible of the risk of dealing with companies listed on Alibaba.com.

Alibaba cannot be trusted, they list bogus companies who offer goods at very low prices, accept payment via TT and do not send the goods. Alibaba is no better than these companies as it makes money from their dishonest activities and lists many of them as Gold Suppliers implying that they are honest traders.

Alibaba will not help people who have been robbed in the recovery of their money and will not take any responsibility for the loss.

Please avoid Alibaba and the companies they list. I am speaking from experience; I lost a large sum of money dealing with a Gold Supplier who proved to be a fraud.

I agreed with your comment. I had suffered from this as well. Their gold member is those members who had paid alibaba annual fee. So Alibaba always lead us to their gold members. Such as company : Shanghai fraxx wxrks. when i search "paper speaker", they placed Paid supplier's product in the result list. Actually, there are other company also doing paper speaker. Result is that paid member 's product price is higher and quality is lower. I found other member( supplier) at the end of list which is better quality with lower price. Please pay attention to the top search result in the list is always NO GOOD SUPPLIER.

I agree as well. I ordered some items from a gold member. My credit card was charged, but I never received my items. And good luck with a successful dispute; it is highly unlikely that you will ever see that money again. Fortunately, the item I ordered was only $19CAD, so I did not lose a large amount of money. This website is very unsecure; after using my credit card to order from this website, charges from other Chinese-based websites were appearing on my credit card that I had not made. Thankfully I was able to cancel my credit card and was credited back for all the unauthorized purchases.

Alibaba is a fraud company. We invested a wholesome of money on Gold Supplier membership but we didn't get any return on investment. Our Gold Supplier account was stolen by someone. They cheated us. We lost everything so please don't trust Alibaba. It is a very worst and fraud company.
